• Email is always the best way to contact me! I try to answer emails as quickly as I can but remember I am a one person show, so your patience will be greatly appreciated. If you haven’t heard from me in 7 days feel free send me another email to gently remind me!

  • The more information you can include in your emails the better! Tell me everything you would in person. This includes things like reference or inspo images, size placement, color or black and grey, budget ect.

  • For small pieces our shop usually charges by the piece ranging, typically, but not limited to from $100 (our shop minimum) to $200.

  • Placement may also affect the price.

  • For larger work I charge $150 an hour

Arriving to your Appointment, and general shop etiquette

  • It’s important that you arrive ON TIME, to your appointment! Our schedules are tight and our days are booked accordingly. If you are more that 20 minutes late, you risk losing your appointment to walk-ins as well as forfeiting your deposit.

  • Make sure that you bring your government issued ID or passport with you. It needs to be a the physical document, photos of your ID don't count.

  • In the state of Minnesota you also must be at least 18 years of age to get tattooed. No minors.

  • Try and leave friends to a minimum. One extra guest is usually fine but remember that we have limited space in our shop and limited time between clients, extra bodies slows down the process. And honestly, it’s not that exciting to watch people get tattooed for an hour plus.

  • Bring headphones if it helps you to be comfortable but I do ask that you keep at least one ear open as I will need to communicate with you throughout our session.

  • Make sure that you get a good night’s sleep, drink plenty of water and have eaten before getting tattooed. Bring water with you if you can! And a snack for longer sessions.

  • Remember that while we do have fun in the shop it is a professional setting and a place of business. Be respectful of us, and other clients/folks in the shop. Getting tattooed is not a right. We reserve the right to refuse service and ask you to leave you behave disrespectfully.

  • Do not show up to your appointment drunk or under the influence, I will not tattoo you.

Aftercare

Aftercare may change depending on the type of bandaging we use after your session. But here are some general rules to remember:

  • With plastic wrap: leave your tattoo wrapped for 1-2 hours.

  • With second skin try and leave it on for at least a day. It can stay on for up to 3 days!

  • THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU WANT TO DO REGARDLESS OF BANDAGING: is wash your brand new tattoo!! Once you remove your wrap or saniderm you must wash your new tattoo after with warm water and antibacterial soap. Make sure you get all the plasma that off your tattoo and your skin is fresh and clean.

  • Pat dry with a fresh paper towel! Cloth towels harbor bacteria, and your new tattoo is essentially an open wound. We want to keep bacteria away from it as best we as we can! So use a paper towel and not a hand towel.

  • Let your tattoo dry out over night.

  • For the next few days your job is to keep it clean your new tattoo and dry!

  • Indirect water contact is fine and important for keeping your skin clean. That means you can shower.

  • DO NOT soak your tattoo or submerge it in water! That means no swimming pools, hot tubs, baths, lakes, saunas or oceans. Also if your tattoo is on your hand, don’t stick it in dirty dishwater.

  • Your tattoo will get itchy as it heals, much like a cut or sunburn.

  • To help with itching use a THIN layer or a creamy white unscented lotion once a day. If you smother your tattoo in too much lotion or too much Aquaphor it may slow down your healing process and leave you susceptible to bacterial growth.

  • Repeat the washing, drying and light layer of lotion routine for the next two weeks while your tattoo is healing.

Remember for the next two weeks while your tattoo is healing:

  • DO NOT itch or scratch your tattoo! Doing so could pull ink off. Instead lightly pat your tattoo to help aleve itching.

  • AVOID over exposure to the sun. Sunburns can do lots of damage to your new tattoo. Do not use sunscreen, which can also irritate your new tattoo instead make sure to wear a loose protective layer of clothing to cover the area.

  • and again DO NOT soak your tattoo or submerge it in water! That means no swimming pools, hot tubs, baths, lakes, saunas or oceans.
